Peach, Please

To celebrate International Women's Day & Women's History Month (March), we are releasing our Spearfish Brewing Women's Brew Saturday, March 8th.

Peach, Please is a peach Gose - it's light but full of peachy goodness, as well as being slightly tart & a lil salty.

Goses really get us, huh?

We used the 2025 Yakima Chief Pink Boots Blend Hops & we have some fun facts about this blend to share, straight from the source:
"The annual hop blend supports @pinkbootssociety in their mission to assist, inspire and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education.

This year's blend features hops grown by women-owned farms within our grower network. Jessica Riel, @doublerhop, Erica Lorentz @lakesidehopranches, and Reggie Brulotte @brulotte_farms_, each hand-selected their favorite lots from this year’s harvest, which the YCH sensory team used to craft three unique blends for the Pink Boots Society to choose from. We’re thrilled to offer this woman-grown blend in support of The Pink Boots Society!

The sensory team is excited about the bright grapefruit notes layered with tropical citrus, supported by lush berries and dank, woody aromas.

Hitching Post

New Zealand IPA collab with Hitching Post Tap House in Belle Fourche, SD. We had a great time getting to know the owners of Hitching Post during the brew of this easy drinking IPA. Hitching Post is light in body & floral/tropical citrus notes. 5.3% ABV means you can enjoy a few with friends. Cheers to beer bringing people together!

Thiol By Combat

Hazy IPA with thiolized yeast (thiols are flavor compounds) bringing tropical fruit flavors & aromas to this hop-heavy beer. ABV 6%

Big Bird Bones Barrel-Aged Bottle

Batch #1 of our Barrel-Aged Series. Our Bird Bones Imperial Stout was aged in malted whiskey barrels for 6 months then blended. Smooth, lightly carbonated, & bold. Half a Horse

IPA - Our seasonal IPA pairs perfectly with downtown Spearfish vibes - easy, familiar, & the right amount of fun. This IPA is a perfect balance of citrus and just a little bitterness. ABV 6.4%

Yellow Jacket

Light Ale - The Yellow Jacket is the official beer of BHSU athletics. 15% of revenues from this light, drinkable, and refreshing beer are donated to BHSU athletics scholarships.

Lemon Bar

Tart! Zesty! Sweet! Made with real lemons. The Lemon Bar is an ode to tart pastry, have fun with this modern take on beer. ABV 5.1%

Festbier

This classic German strong lager is brewed with traditional German grains and hops. 2021 NABA Silver Medal winner. 2021 US Beer Open Silver Medal winner. 2020 US Beer Open Gold Medal winner. ABV 7.1%

Bird Bones

A big, dark beer with lots of malty character. Roasted coffee and chocolate notes, smooth with a warm alcohol finish.

2021 Great American Beer Festival Bronze medal winner for Imperial Stout style. ABV 10.9%

The Schwa

A classic blonde ale with a tropical twist! Additions of pink guava puree add sweetness, haziness, and body. ABV 5%

Bobcat Logic

Fermented with lactobacillus, dry with strong lemon tartness, flavors of lemon, alcohol, and champagne. ABV 6.4%

Venner Beer

Light golden color, sweet malty aroma, and subtle herbal notes. Crisp, clean, and complex. ABV 4.2%

Copper Midge

2019 North American Brewers Association beer awards silver medal winner in the American Amber Lager category. Glowing copper color, toasted malt and caramel sweetness on the palate, gentle floral hop finish. ABV 5.4%
